Photography : Picturing England

Picturing England is a free standing collection of historic photographs taken from the 1850's to the present day. They document the buildings and landscapes in England since photography was created. The images capture moments in time and let's the observer see the changes in our urban an rural landscape. Each piece was take for different reasons such as; for recreation, to record an event, to capture something intriguing or to engage social awareness.

Collectively this visual diary has given us an insight into how we view and understand the environment around us. The exhibition is currently in Centenary Square and Birmingham Library.
