The inspiration behind this artwork and Lets Get Funky came about after spending an afternoon with godfather of British Black photography Vanley Burke at his allotment. I was really stressed out from work so he sat me down, handed me a bottle of cider and we talked about his work, art and he showed me round his allotment and where he finds peace going on to tell me about the different produce he was growing. His kindness calmed my mind and fuelled me to create the two paintings 'Love & Lets Get Funky'. We all need people in our life to calm our inner soul and release the negative vibes and truly spread the LOVE.
